20 Mil Crawl Space Moisture Barrier
Our SilverBack® HS crawl space moisture barrier is designed by CrawlSpaceRepair.com and manufactured to our strict standards in Canada. This crawl space moisture barrier is made from 100% virgin polyethylene resin and reinforced using virgin polyethylene ribbons. On to the polyethylene reinforcement we laminate a PURE Premium® layer of film to give this moisture barrier a smooth high quality surface. This moisture barrier is completely SEAMLESS. There are no welds or panels. The SilverBack® HS is a smooth one piece product.
Reinforced
With 100% of the surface is protected by reinforcement made from polyethylene ribbons. The ribbons are stretched and strengthen before they are woven in a cross hatch pattern. The puncture and tear strength greatly outmatches even string reinforced moisture barriers. The minimum thickness across the even surface is 20 Mil, but installs like a 12 mil, making it much easier to lay in a crawl space environment.
Testing
This moisture barrier, like all of our barriers used in the crawl space, is tested for VOC's and other odor causing contaminates by K&N Labs, an independent lab, in Minnesota. We test every moisture barrier to insure we are delivering the quality we are offering. We are the only company that tests their moisture barriers in addition to performance quality.
