InstaDry® Sump Pump Kits
The InstaDry® sump pump kits can be configured differently to meet the pumping needs of your crawl space. This kit is Made in America and can only be purchased through us or one of our distribution partners. The InstaDry® kit includes one pump of your choice, a two piece snap together InstaDry® sump basin, a radon approved lid with rubber caskets & bolts, a PVC fittings(coupling, threaded male end and 90º elbow) and your choice of check valves (Liberty PVC or InstaDry® Rubber).

The Basin
The InstaDry® sump basin is a unique design developed by CrawlSpaceRepair.com, LLC and offers easy entry into any size crawl space opening. We accomplish this with two identical halves that snap together once inside the crawl space. The basin has long water slots to allow large volumes of water to pass through without allowing water pressure to build up. If there is a situation where water is coming into the crawl space faster than it can be pumped out, the anti float plate on the bottom of the basin will keep the basin in the ground. This basin is installed in the ground with a minimum of 4" of clean rock surrounding the basin. This rock helps filter dirt from settling in the basin. A filter sock is also available for additional filtration in sandy or loose soil environments.
The Lid
This lid comes with a soil gas mitigation port to pipe soil gasses outdoors as well as a discharge port for water and a port for the sump pump's electrical cord. All three ports have rubber gaskets to seal around these pipes and cord. The lid includes a rubber blank to fill the soil gas mitigation port if it is not used on your application.
Check Valves
You have three different check valves to choose from-
- Standard InstaDry® Check valve- All components of the check valve are Made in the USA of rubber, polyethylene and stainless steel. The rubber makes up the pipe collars and the check flap while the case for the flap is made of polyethylene. The hose clamps are stainless steel.
- Quiet Check Valve White- This check valve is engineered to stop the slamming noise created when the sump pump turns off AND there is more than 5' of height in the PVC pipe. In most crawl space environments this check valve is not necessary because it does not pump high enough to cause the "slam" from water weight in the pipe. However, it is a heavy duty check valve and many professionals use these for longevity and not for the "quiet" feature
The Rest
Also included in the kit are 1 each 1.5" PVC SHC40 coupler, 90º elbow and a male threaded end to screw into the pump.
