Vapor Barrier and Felt5100™ in one Roll 1020 square feet 12'x85'

Often times a crawl space does not require a thick vapor barrier, either the crawl space will not get much foot traffic or the soil is not sharp. A 6 mil may be a good choice to handle the moisture but it may not survive even the lightest of traffic. 

6 Mil Rough Soil® offers the low cost of a 6 mil with the protection of our Felt5100™. We have bonded the two products together to give a one step install, saving installation time and preventing damage from the earth. The bond between the layers is meant to only be strong enough to aid in installation. This crawl space liner is not designed for the walls, a non Rough Soil® barrier is better suited for the walls (see reason 3) as the Felt5100™ will wick water..

Benefits of Rough Soil®

1. Felt5100™ aids in soil gas mitigation (if needed)
2. Felt5100™ protects the 6 mil crawl space liner from rock and sharp object damage 
3. Felt5100™ aids in distributing puddling water by wicking water away to be absorbed by the earth
4. the light bonding method of the two layers is to allow the installer to separate the layers when needed
5. 10" on each side (along the 85')of the roll is not bonded to allow the 6 mil to stack together and the Felt5100™ to stack together at the seams as sections overlap. This keeps the Felt5100™ from wicking water to the crawl space seam tape.
