Soil Gas Mitigation
The Felt550® is used to assist in mitigating soil gasses like Radon, Methane and Ammonia, by maintaining a break between the vapor barrier and the ground allowing the evacuation of the soil gasses out of the home.
Water Disbursement
The Felt550® also helps to disperse and standing water under the vapor barrier that may have pooled up during a rain. It does this by absorbing the water and dispersing it over a larger area so that it can be absorbed by the earth.
