12 Mil Crawl Space Vapor Barrier
12 Mil GuardianLiner® is made from 100% virgin polyethylene resin and reinforcement. This 12 mil crawl space vapor barrier is perfect for floors of dirt, clay and sand. If your floor has more than a minimal amount of rock consider using the Felt550® under this 12 mil crawl space vapor barrier to limit dimpling and punctures. The face of the GuardianLiner® is bright white and the back is a cream/tan color that is treated with an antimicrobial. The antimicrobial is added to enhance the GuardianLiner's® natural ability to resist mold and mildew.
This 12 mil crawl space vapor barrier is made by bonding two different Pure Premium® vapor barrier layers together with a layer of 1000 denier polyester thread. The top and bottom layers are bonded together with hot molten virgin polyethylene resin. Rolls wider than 6'9" will have a seam along the center of the roll. This seam is very durable and is heat welded to create the bond.

Odor Control
There are many products used in crawl spaces as a vapor barrier that are made with the wrong ingredients and additives that can react negatively with a harsh environment like a crawl space. We test ALL of our vapor barriers for a source of odor before we offer them for sale. Each roll in a manufacturing batch has a lot number and each lot is tested by an independent lab (see LAB RESULTS TAB) to insure the 12 mil crawl space vapor barrier does not contain VOC's or other contamination. This ensures that all of our vapor barriers will play a part in controlling odor not causing it.
