20 Mil GuardianLiner® is a popular choice to protect the crawl space. This encapsulation liner measures 20 Mil at the top of the thread and 16 mil at the plastic between the reinforcement. The top is a bright white and the back is a tan that is treated with minimal amounts of antimicrobial to enhance its natural ability to fight mold and mildew. The 13'4" width is folded in half and then rolled on an 87" core for easy shipping and handling. This roll weights in at about 92 pounds shipping weight and is made to the 85 MSF standard which means there is 85 pounds of plastic for every 1000 square feet.
20 Mil SilverBack® is known for its true thickness at the plastic and comes in both Polyester Cord Reinforced (SR) and Polyethylene Ribbon reinforced (HS). SilverBack® SR measures 20 Mil at the plastic and 26 mil at the reinforcement and weighs a whopping 110 pounds per 1000 sq ft or 110 MSF. The 13'4" width is folded in half and then rolled on an 87" core for easy shipping and handling. The SilverBack® HS measures actual 20 mil across the surface and weighs 10.7 oz per sq yard or 75 MSF. Because of the manufacturing process the SilverBack® HS has higher tear and puncture strength than most other types of reinforcement while using less polyethylene.

The Foundation Seal Tape™ is a that is so strong and sticky it will seal your barrier to the cement wall. Unlike other tapes sold to do the same job, our Foundation Seal Tape™ has a reinforcement inside the tape to give it strength and keep it from stretching when installing it in the crawl space. You might find some tape that looks like it in a picture, but it is not the same time proven tape.
